Preston have loaned out two players who have fallen out of favour at Deepdale.

24 year old French midfielder Eric Skora has joined Paul Merson’s Walsall on a month’s loan whilst 23 year old Dickson Etuhu looks set for a move to Norwich.

Both Skora and Etuhu have fallen behind Paul ‘look into my eyes, not around my eyes’ McKenna, Brian O’Neil and David Jones in Preston’s midfield choices at Deepdale. Skora hasn’t featured since Davies took the reigns and Etuhu has found his appearances limited this year.

Skora goes straight into the Saddlers squad for their League One game against Gillingham. Merson had said in the week: ‘We are currently attempting to secure the services of a box-to-box midfielder from The Championship who would go straight into the starting line-up for Saturday’s game if we were successful in getting him in on loan.’ So it looks like he has got his man!

Meanwhile Dickson Etuhu has been at Norwich today to complete a medical and sign contracts. Worthington is desperate to bolster his squad. Etuhu 134 appearances for Preston, 34 as sub and has scored 18 goals, including two this year.

A club spokesman said: ‘Dickson looks set to sign for Norwich on a two-month loan deal with the view to a permanent move in January.’
