Reserve watch: PNE beat Carlisle

The reserve game was a chance for Billy Barr to field a strong team for match practice and fitness with injury comebacks for Neil Mellor and Sean St.Ledger. Mellor played an hour of the match on his comeback trail from injury, scoring the winner from the penalty spot. Reserve team coach Billy Barr was happy with the performances of all the players. Along with fellow striker, Michael Ricketts also played an hour. Simon Whaley, Jason Jarrett and Danielle Dichio all completed the full 90 minutes with them all lacking in match fitness. Keeper Andy Lonergan also participated in the game.
