The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Birmingham City this midweek.
Preston North End host Birmingham on Tuesday December 15 for the game at Deepdale and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.
Referee: Kevin Wright
Linesmen: Alf Greenwood and Iain Siddall
Fourth Official: Mark Haywood
Match Day referee Wright (Cambridgeshire) is yet to officiate a Preston game this season.
He has however already taken in seventeen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 48 yellow cards and three red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Shrewsbury and Gillingham on November 28 with a total of five yellows being shown. He’s shown four yellow cards on six occasions so far this year as well.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
