Preston secured another win (making it back-to-back victories) over Reading in the Championship on Saturday.
A goalless first half had seen Middlesbrough loanee Adam Reach denied by the crossbar but early in the second half when Joe Garner was fouled by veteran Paul McShane this gave Preston a penalty.
Garner got up to take this himself and scored, in doing so he also maintained his recent goalscoring run.
