PNE vital reveal last week`s poll results

Last time PNE vital asked the fans how they thought would wear the no.1 jersey for PNE this season.

The options were Carlo Nash, Wayne Henderson, Andrew Lonergan or a new signing

Here are the results:

Wayne Henderson 54%
Andrew Lonergan 23%
New signing 13%
Carlo Nash 10%

Since the poll was started, Carlo Nash has joined Wigan for £300,000 so is out of contention. No keepers have been bought because Preston have two able keepers in Lonergan and Henderson. Chris Neal is there for cover so no new keeper was deemed necessary. The poll shows more fans think Henderson will start in net than Lonergan.

The next question is: Will Preston bring in a new striker before the Morecambe game?
