From New Years day, PNE vital asked the fans whether they think hot prospect David Nugent will stay at Deepdale beyond January. The results are:
Yes 62%
No 38%
With a 24% gap, it appears most people reckon Nugent will remain with Preston and with Sheffield United turning their attention elsewhere, it appears Nugent will stay until the summer at least. It remains to be seen whether Nugent will stay but it is unlikely he will extend his current contract because he wants premiership football, either at Deepdale or not.
