Officials have made the decision to postpone the game against Ipswich due to a frozen pitch.

The news is unfortunate for North End, who will now face a tricky patch of fixture congestion on their run-in.

Referee Graham Salisbury made the decision after discussions with both PNE officials and the football league.

General Manager Ben Rhodes said: ‘We wanted to make an early decision before the Ipswich team and fans set off on the long trip up here. After our long trip to Plymouth earlier in the season only to find the game was off, we wanted to keep disruption to a minimum.’
