Danny Dichio is 31 today. Andy Lonergan, currently on loan at Wycombe is 22. So that’s nice!

Talking about Engalnd U21 goalie Andy Lonergan, said: ‘I have been out of action for eight months and I was desperate to play again. I was asking the manager to go out on loan and I jumped at the chance when Wycombe came in. It is only for a month first but I would be happy to stay until Christmas. I’ve had a good start with a clean sheet in my first game but I want to keep it going. My ambition is to go through the whole month without conceding a goal ‘I went three games on the spin without conceding a goal last season and I want to better that.’

Ticket details for next month’s trip to Loftus Road on Tuesday November 22nd with a 7.45pm kick-off have been announced. Tickets will go on general sale on Tuesday 25th October. Adults £24, Seniors £14, Juniors £12. Coaches depart at 1pm from Deepdale and tickets are priced as follows: Adults £22, Season Ticket Holders £20, Juniors £18. Billy Davies questioned both free kicks awarded and leading to Cardiffs goals, but said he was impressed with his teams performance.

North End’s Boxing Day clash with Sheffield Wednesday, that was due to kick off at 3pm, will now get underway at 1.30pm at the request of Lancashire Police. Apparently they have a party to go to after the game!!! (Joke, Joke)
