Birmingham 1 – 0 Leeds
Luton 2 – 3 Norwich

Birmingham bolstered their automatic promotion push with a 1-0 win over Leeds, whilst Norwich came from behind to beat Luton away from home.

There was one game on Friday night, here is the result:

Derby 5 – 1 Colchester

Derby pummelled Colchester to cement their place in the top two.

Burnley 1 – 1 C Palace
Coventry 2 – 0 Hull City
Ipswich 2 – 1 QPR
Leeds 2 – 3 Sheff Wed
Luton 2 – 3 Wolves

Southend 2 – 2 Leicester
West Brom 1 – 2 Sunderland

Barnsley dropped valuable points at home, allowing Norwich another vital 3 points to safety. Burnley came from behind to salvage a point against Palace and Iain Dowie continued his winning ways at Coventry with a 2-0 victory over Hull. Ipswich beat QPR in a relegation fight and Sheff Wed beat Leeds in the Yorkshire derby. Luton once again lost 3-2 at home whilst Plymouth and Stoke drew 1-1 in the mid table clash. Southend secured another valuable point at home, whilst West Brom slipped at home to Sunderland, who continue to march up the table.

On Sunday, Birmingham beat Cardiff 1-0 at home to go top of the table:
