Southampton travel up to Deepdale in search of cementing their top 6 position, whilst Preston will want to get back into the top 6. Preston currently lie 7th, joint on points with Southampton, Cardiff and Wolves. A win could propel PNE up to 4th depending on the weekends results. Southampton are positioned in 5th, tied on points with PNE. This has been earmarked as a huge game and the sky cameras will be there watching.

Preston enter the game on the back of a 4-1 defeat away at Cardiff. That game was also on the sky cameras. Southampton go into the game after beating Ipswich 1-0 at home. This is a massive game for both teams as they are 2 of eight teams that are still in the hunt for automatic promotion.

Preston have lost Simon Whaley to a freak injury whilst on a training camp in Spain. McKenna has also been ruled out for a couple of weeks. Davidson and Ricketts may be fit for the clash after recovering over the ten day break. However, Ormerod is till out. Left back Matt Hill is suspended after 5 yellow cards.

Player to watch: Chris Sedgwck

Massive game for the midfielder, after many injuries in midfield, Sedgwick has a chance to impress once more. He will want to grasp this chance with both hands after having a poor season already. He will either replace McKenna or Whaley.

Indiakez and Pele may return for Southampton and Rasiak will want to earn back his place in the starting 11. Ostlund and Powell may also be out.

Time for Deepdale to see what all the hype is about. The left back may punish Preston with one of his trademark free kicks.
