Preston remain in the playoff positions after Wolves failed to beat QPR at Loftus Road.

The Lilywhites are level on points with seventh-placed Cardiff (55pts), but stay sixth by virtue of a vastly superior goal difference.

Following the postponement of the Ipswich game, North End now have three games in hand over the majority of teams in the Championship.

With fifth-placed Crystal Palace losing at home to fellow promotion-chasers Leeds, North End will be hoping to capitalise – starting with the re-arranged Plymouth fixture this Tuesday (March 7th).

Match preview to follow.
