Billy Davies said he was ‘disappointed’ with the performance at Deepdale as we drew 0-0 with Leicester. He also says the inability to win at home has become ‘a monkey on the team’s back’.

‘It was a disappointing performance with regards to the type of game it was. I think it was a very scrappy game of football and the one thing we have got to do at Deepdale here is show a little bit more composure, a little bit more patience to pass the ball and create our chances and wait for our openings and obviously do a little bit more in the final third, things that we haven’t been doing at home in the last number of games.’

He says they all know what needs to be done:

‘We know the situation with regards to what we are doing, not creating enough chances in the final third and that was certainly the case. I can’t fault the players’ attitude, but at home, especially from middle to front, we have to be a little more creative and imaginative. It was another point, another clean sheet. Hopefully we can take this monkey off our back. We’ll keep grinding away and hopefully we’ll get the right balance and go on from there.’
