Simon Grayson has admitted that his side have got a very tough challenge going into their 4th round FA Cup replay against Nottingham Forest tonight who are in reasonable Championship form, not losing a game since the beginning of December.
“It is not just another game for us, we want to win this game, but we are still the underdogs, we need to be hard to beat, but we will create chances even against a top Championship team,” Grayson told the PNE Website
He added, “It was a good game down there and they were very complimentary of how we played and rightly so, because we put in a professional performance.”
North End have defeated both Championship teams who have visited Deepdale this season, Blackpool who they faced in the west Lancashire derby at the beginning of the season in the Capital One Cup 1st Round; Ipswich in the FA Cup 3rd round replay, where former Forest striker Joe Garner got his side through by netting a hat-trick.
