Simon Grayson wasn’t sure on the decision to send him off but knows the ‘referee makes a decision that he deemed was the right one.’
Pickford told him ‘it hit him in the chest area’ but the decided otherwise. This ‘huge decision at an important part of the game’ is one that obviously went against Preston and he felt it ‘ultimately cost us the game.’
