Jordan Pickford hasn’t made too many, if any, mistakes for Preston since arriving on loan from Sunderland but the ‘keeper held his hands up to one against Birmingham on Tuesday.
Simon Grayson said he was ‘the first to apologise for the goal because he’s come for it and missed it completely’ not that he’s holding it against him as he had already kept Preston ‘in the game anyway’ in the one-all draw at Deepdale.

Given all the cleansheets he’s managed and the saves he’s pulled off it’s clear to see he’s ‘got a bright future wherever he’s going to be’ with Grayson pleased to ‘have him and help with his development’ at this point in time.
