Preston boss Simon Grayson was left feeling frustrated after watching his side let go of a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1 with Fleetwood Town at Highbury.

Nothing wrong with how North End started the game, Daniel Johnson had Preston in front after just ten minutes.

But then they wasted chances to kill the game off, thus allowing Fleetwood back into the game with 85 minutes on the clock, David Ball coming up with the goods.

Grayson was disappointed not to have hung on to the full quota of points, he told reporters: ‘I think it’s two points dropped,’ he said. ‘In the first half we played really well, their keeper made some unbelievable saves.

‘Jermaine Beckford should have scored. It might make the difference between automatic and play-offs, that’s how tight it is.’

The draw leaves Preston ten points behind leaders Bristol City, but more importantly they are four points ahead of third placed Swindon Town. But the Robins do have a game in hand.
