Preston boss Billy Davies has questioned whether either of the free kick decisions againstleading to Cardiff’s goals were correct last night.
Tyrone Mears equalised after Preston went one down from a Jason Koumas goal only for Koumas to strike again. Luckily Chris Sedgwick came on and earnt Preston a much deserved draw.
Davies said: ‘I’d like to look at them again as I feel they were unjustified and I told the referee that after the final whistle.’
However Davies was impressed with the performance of his team: ‘We passed the ball well and did a fantastic job and thoroughly deserved at least a point if not all three. I was very pleased with our overall play, it was a good performance and I’m delighted with how we went about it.’
