Garner: I’m feeling confident

The former Carlisle, Forest and Watford striker scored a brace at Prenton Park on Saturday and has bagged eleven goals overall this season.

“I`m confident at the minute, I`m confident in my own ability and it helps when you have got top players behind you sliding you in,” Garner told the PNE Website.

Talking about the win on Saturday he added, “I thought we played well, I thought the first half on the whole we were the better team.”

Preston’s next game is at Deepdale on Saturday, where they welcome Leyton Orient in 3rd position, currently five points ahead of North End and Garner will be hoping to get on the score sheet and that him and the team are well prepared.

“We`ll be ready for that game, we`re confident, especially at home with the home fans behind us we`ll be ready and waiting for them,” Garner concluded.
